Are you looking to save images of your favorite programs? We have made it easy for you to do so by adding a Download Image button to the program page. Simply log in to your account and click the Download Image button to save the image to your device. This feature is available for all logged-in users, so be sure to take advantage of it today!

The Turtle has a new Playground.
With the new Playground, you can write a few lines of code easily.
Save directly as a program.
Mobile friendly.
If you liked the old Playground better you can still use it by clicking on 'Move to legacy Playground'

The lesson 'Getting list of inputs' is up.
In this lesson we will learn how to get a list of inputs ( colors in this case ) and use it in our program.

The lesson 'The Turtle Borders' is up.
In this lesson you will learn how to use the turtle surface with the wrap, window and fence commands.

The commands showturtle (st) and hideturtle (ht) are now working properly.

We are happy to announce that Turtle Academy will now support the include command (for now only in English).

The command structure is include (e.g include 8080). When we include a program, we actually import all of our defined functions (TO commands) from this program. This is a really powerful tool which enables us to define a function once and use it everywhere.

Hello Everybody,

We are pleased to announce that, after an extended period of work, we have just uploaded a new version of Turtle Academy, which is mobile friendly, and includes a better interface and some new features, such as:
1) Translated programs – Now you will be able to enter any public program and see the code in your own native language.
2) School and class management - improved interface for teachers managing a class.
3) More user friendly - better presentation of rating options of user programs.
4) Include command - You will soon be able to include your program function in another program.

If you have encountered any problems since the upgrade please let us know.

wait - will cause the turtle wait before continuing to the next command
setwaittime, swt - will set the wait time
ellipse (Width , Height) - will create an ellipse expecting Width and Height parameters
setrgbcolor (rgb), srgb (r,g,b) - will set a new color expecting 3 parameters which will determine the amount of red, green and blue

Currently we have 4000+ verified users using and enjoying Turtle Academy. The users have created so far more than 1000 programs, including commands which have not been yet implemented in the lesson plans.

From now on, you can win the Turtle badges. The badges will be given for doing a variety of activities.
Badges for completing lessons, creating lessons, winning games, contributing the Turtle Academy and more will be available in you own user profile. :)

Some adjustment made to make Turtle Academy more user friendly.

The improvements include new lessons navigation tool and changing the look of the top-bar buttons.

Currently we are working on some site performance and making the website more user friendly. Updates will be launched soon.

Now Turtle Academy has fully supported the registration process in Chinese.

What are the benefits of being a registered user?
1) Progress cross platform - You can log in from a different computer and your progress will be saved.
2) Learn command is automatically executed when you log in - Did you teach the turtle some amazing commands? No need to re-teach him.
3) Some lessons are only available for registered users.
